Training:

Alongside the Canoe Club, behind PCYC, Klingner Road, Talobilla Park, Scarborough.

Monday at 5.30pm for 5.45pm start

Saturday at 6.45am for 7.00am start (survivors, bosom buddies & juniors)

Saturday at 8.00am for 8.15am start (social survivors / new members)

Sessions are approx. 1 hour on the water


On arrival:

Sign On and pay $20.00 to Heather Binns (in the red car office) if you are a new paddler (This is for 3 sessions to cover insurance before you decide to join).

Organise a Paddle from the shed in our compound.

Organise a Life Jacket if you can't swim 50 metres, also in the shed.

Place car keys in container in Heather's or Arthur's car boot.

Start warm up exercises.


Costs:

$20.00 will get you started and gives you 3 paddling sessions.

$80.00 per annum membership Redcliffe Red Dragons Club (Payable to Red Dragons Club Treasurer). Your initial $20.00 comes off this.

$10.00 per annum membership Dragons Abreast Australia (Payable to Snapdragons Treasurer).

For Breast Cancer Survivors or Breast Cancer Supporters. Forms to be completed for membership.


Gear:

Shorts or 3/4 pants: (navy or black)

T-shirt/Singlet: (pink training singlet available for $15.40)

Hat and Sunscreen for day

Water Bottle

Insect Repellant for evening paddles

Aqua Shoes, Crocs or Joggers - no bare feet

Anything else you can find that's pink! and remember it's a water sport so you might get wet!
